Rachel Tucker is an Olivier Nominated Actress for originating the role of ‘Annette/Cap Beverly Bass’ in the London production of Come From Away, Phoenix Theatre. Having been asked to join the show’s production on Broadway, she and her family were delighted to have the opportunity to move and live New York for the last two years.
Rachel recently starred as ‘Norma Desmond’ in Sunset Boulevard at the Savoy Theatre, London gaining critical acclaim from press and audiences for her iconic performance.
Rachel is undoubtably best known for her inspiring interpretation of ‘Elphaba’ in London’s West End production of Wicked at the Apollo Theatre. After playing the role for three years and over one thousand performances she became the show’s longest running consecutive ‘Green Witch’ and thereafter was honoured to play the role for another year on Broadway at the Gershwin Theater.
Alongside her incredible theatre career, Rachel is a highly sought after concert artist. Performing at the Sydney Opera House and The Arts Centre, Melbourne, in ‘Do You Hear The People Sing’, a musical spectacular of Boublil and Schönberg’s best known works: Les Miserable and Miss Saigon; This July Rachel is excited to return with the show for one night only at the prestigious Hollywood Bowl, LA.
